If you don't know me yet, my name is Barbi and I am the founder and formulator behind Greener Me. I am passionate about cleaning up our act -and making it easier for you to as well! It is counter intuitive for me to talk about the merits of chosing plastic, but.....things are not always what they seem.

I debated long and hard about the best packaging for our cleaning products, and plastic won out. Assuming that 85% of glass is recycled (I wish), and 50% of plastic is recycled, plastic still has a considerably lower environmental impact. I am not going to tell you that I love plastic - on the contrary.  We humans have polluted every corner of our planet with plastic, because we have become so accustomed to throwing plastic away after a single use. But when used responsibly I believe that some plastics are the best option for packaging our liquid cleaning products.

It's up to you to refill the bottle rather than throwing it in the trash or the recycle bin after one use!

4. Plastic is easier and cheaper to recycle than glass.

5. Plastic is lighter on the earth's resources to make.

6. Plastic lasts forever (well, almost) and so your packaging      can be re-used over and over and over (and over) again!
